Do we need all of those new car features?
When The Major buys a car, he looks for a base model with a special upgrade package. These cars often have popular features such as bucket seats in the front and alloy wheels.
His next car will also have an HD radio because HD radio doesn't require a subscription and the channels have fewer commercials.
The Major also likes the half year models because autos manufactured midyear because often have some of the bugs engineered out of them. The Major never buys top end versions because they are expensive and overly complex. Complexity implies expensive electrical issues as the car ages.
Take a look at the intermediate brands, too. A Mercury or Buick might offer better features and finish for a couple of hundred dollars more than a Ford or Chevy.
