Karl Rove is no fan of Rick Perry

The Daily Beast indicates that Karl Rove and his operatives appear to have launched their own campaign to
derail Rick Perry's presidential bid,  criticizing  Perry as"unpresidential."

Karl Rove said:

You don't accuse the chairman of the Federal Reserve of being a traitor to his country and being guilty of treason and suggesting that we treat him pretty ugly in Texas -- that's not, again, a presidential statement.”

The Daily Beast's Matt Latimer, a former speechwriter for George W. Bush, discusses the old Texan feud over power and money.

Bush has gone out of his way not to criticize Obama, but his team has taken the gloves off with Rick Perry. Ben Bernanke was, of course, a Bush appointee.
