Intrade: Is Obama obama slip, slidding away?

The Intrade numbers and the Gallup Poll suggest the president is losing his base. Part of Obama's problem is that he doesn't play to his base much. He needs to start revving up labor and progressives if he wants anybody to campaign for him in 2012. Obama's Intrade rating was 60 per cent about one month ago.

This is the other big surprise.

Rick Perry is actually doing better than the early favorite, Mitt Romney.

As another blogger put it this way about Perry who earlier talked about Texas seceding form the Union and issued a proclamation for Texans to pray for rain after a long drought.

 Just what America needs. Another dumb ass from Texas.
