WMR: Suspicious attack on Wayne Madsen's brother

New Port Richey (June 23-24, 2011)-- Wayne Madsen's  brother, is in stable but guarded condition following what he has described a break-in of his house and a forced injection with an unknown substance.

A New Port Richey police officer found my brother roaming the streets of the town at around 4:20 am on June 22 in a confused and disheveled state.

My brother told police and a family member that his home had been broken into by unknown persons and he was administered a forced injection after he tried to fend off the attackers with a hand gun that he possesses for security reasons.

He was then found by the police wandering the street in the early morning hours.

Neighbors described my brother as a loner who does not entertain guests.

My brother was taken by police to New Port Richey Community Hospital where blood tests revealed no presence of alcohol or standard tested narcotic substances.

Until more information can be gleaned on this incident over the next few days, WMR's reporting will be intermittent.
