Haaretz: Hitler had an anti-semitic vision long before he rose to power

“How fortunate for leaders that men do not think.”

A 1919 letter by Adolf Hitler is believed to contain his first written comments on his anti-Semitic vision.

The letter has been obtained by the Simon Wiesenthal Center. The center will publish the letter shortly.

Hitler's letter called for a strong government that could handle the "Jewish threat."

The documents are about Hitler's 1924 prison sentence for the failed Beer Hall Putsch.
