Republicans are trying to extend the Patriot Act for six years, but are finding it hard to get the votes This act is a serous assault on the 4th Amendment and Miranda warnings may disappear if the Patriot Act is not repealed.

A leading defense attorney in Clearwater indicated that police may be enter you home without a warrant under the flimsiest of circumstances using the Patriot Act. Of course, this act was supposed to bolster National Security.
