Hysterical Raisins: The destruction of public education

The decades-long campaign to end public education is propelled by the super-wealthy, right-wing DeVos family. 


Betsy Prince DeVos is the sister of Erik Prince, founder of the notorious private military contractor Blackwater USA (now Xe). 


She is the wife of Dick DeVos, son of the co-founder of Amway, the multi-tiered home products business. Amway has been involved in numerous right wing ventures over the years. 

AMWAY may have started the rumor that Proctor and Gamble (P&G) was involved in Satanism and one of the P&G CEOs was donating money to the church of Satan. It was also claimed the P&G logo was Satanic which was false, but P&G changed its logo anyway. 


P&G was eventually awarded with a multi-million dollar settlement from AMWAY for the libel.
