Last week Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu contacted German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
He phoned to say he was disappointed that Germany had voted for a UN Security Council condemning the settlements.
Merkel reportedly replied:
How dare you. You are the one who disappointed us. You haven't made a single step to advance peace.
