Rachel Maddow makes some excellent points, but Rightardia wonders why Obama didn't lower the boom on the affluent and the Bush tax cuts right after the 2010 election.
Or why didn't he include Bush tax cuts for the middle class in the original tax cut bill that was part of the Economic Stimulus? If the Democrats had done that, they could have done nothing and just let the Bush tax cuts expire.
There may be technical reasons why the Pelosi congress didn't handle the Bush tax cuts this way.
If any body knows why Obama waited until after the 2010 elections to address the bush tax cuts for the affluent and the Estate tax, please let Rightardia know.
