Jackie Evanacho, America's newest Prodigy

Aug. 14: MSNBC's Alex Witt talked with vocal coach Robert Love about the 10-year-old "America's Got Talent" star.

Robert Love indicates that Jackie's performance was authentic but certainly improved with the studio audio America's Got Talent uses.

Witt thinks her voice will improve and reach new lows and highs. He also said she is using her head voice rather than her diaphragm voice which will not damage her singing ability

Jackie Evancho, a Pittsburgh native, wowed the crowd when she sang Puccini's famous "O Mia Babbino Caro" on Tuesday night's "America's Got Talent."

The petite performer, who was invited to appear on the show after winning an "AGT" YouTube contest.

She had the most votes for a YouTube performance. Evancho, who describes her style as "classical crossover" like Sarah Brightman.

She began singing at the age of seven after hearing music from "The Phantom of the Opera." We hope to hear her rendition of some of the songs from Andrew Lloyd Webber's 1986 musical.

That would certainly please the judges, Sharon Osorne and Piers Morgan, who are from the UK.
