WSJ: GOP plans to link Democratic Congressional opponents to Nancy Pelosi
The Republicans tried this in 2006 and 2008 with no success. Apparently they think a third try will be a charm. Of interest, the GOP will go after Democrats who voted with the speaker 80 to 90 per cent in the time.
Of course, John McCain was considered a maverick when he voted with President Bush 80 to 90 per cent of the time.The GOP definition of a maverick appears to reflect what side of the aisle a congressperson sits on.
