Proud of the Democratic Party and proud of my President

The GOP would like you to believe that Obama is a weak and vacillating president who hasn't done anything. Actually the president working with Congress and the Senate has gotten  a lot done.

Besides the accomplishments on the domestic side of the house, he has defused tensions with Russia and many nations of the Middle East. Obama's approval rating is now 56 per cent according to the Gallup Poll and he was awarded a surprising Nobel Peace Prize.

The economy is starting to recover: real estate sales are up, the DJIA is approaching 10,000 and GM is investing more than $200 million in Michigan. Senator Bill Nelson (D-FL) expects President Obama to sign America's Affordable Health Care Act of 2009 into law before Thanksgiving.

Better times are ahead for America after the disastrous Bush presidency. The Republicans are trying to talk president Obama and Speaker Nancy Pelosi down. Both are doing the best they can to bring America back from the brink. Don't let these bastards talk America down. America is on the comeback trail.
