Limbaugh's latest lie is that the Rev. Al Sharpton "played a leading role in the 1991 Crown Heights (N.Y.) riot." Limbaugh also claimed Sharpton had a role in Limbaugh being dropped from the group trying to purchase the St. Louis Rams. This is also untrue.
PALM BEACH, Fla., Oct. 18 (UPI) -- Civil rights activist the Rev. Al Sharpton says he may sue Rush Limbaugh if the U.S. talk show host does not apologize for a newspaper libel.
Sharpton objects to a comment Limbaugh made in a column in Saturday's Wall Street Journal. Limbaugh claimed that Sharpton "played a leading role in the 1991 Crown Heights (N.Y.) riot."
Limbaugh's column, a response to accusations that he has a history of making racially insensitive comments on the air, came days after he was dropped from a group who wanted to acquire the St. Louis Rams.
Limbaugh also said Sharpton palyed a key role in the Freddie's Fashion Mart riots in Harlem in 1995.
"I've never led any riots," Sharpton told the Palm Beach (Fla.) Post. "As a matter of fact, I never got to Crown Heights until after the violence ended."

Good idea. Sue Rush for all he's worth everytime he tells a lie. Make him prove his BS in court and under oath.
I don't know if Al Sharpton will get very far, since he's a public figure, but Rush has lied about people who aren't public figures, so that would be a good place to start.
I don't think there is any immunity from libel and slander because you are a public figure. Sharpton, of course, is not a politician.
