A new poll released by CBS News reaffirms strong support for inclusion of a public option and underscores the urgency of Americans for health insurance reform.
Eighty four per cent believe the health care system needs fundamental changes at the very least, and 61 per cent said they would be disappointed if Congress does not pass health care reform this year.

In addition, more than half believe Democrats are serious about wanting to reform the health care system, but nearly 7 in 10 believe Republicans are not serious about health care reform.
