What do you expect after eight years of the worst president ever?

Obama never promised you a rose garden, now did he? We have a tough slog on health care, but we can get this job done.

Think outside of the box for a minute.  Why do you think the conservatives are against public health care? First, the health care industry stands to lose a lot of its profitability. Private health care won't disappear, but 3 out of 4 Americans will likely chose public health care if given the choice.

Why? Because it will cost 30 to 40 per cent less and there will be no pre-existing conditions. Public health care will become a basic human right of Americans like free speech. If you lose your job, you will not lose your health care.

Your job will be untethered from health insurance. There will be no more expensive Cobra payments when you lose your job. You will be able to change jobs if you have a family member with a medical condition because pre-existing medical conditions will be moot.

Many Americans felt--in the Bush era of flat wages and high productivity-- more like an indentured servant than a valued worker. You will no longer be beholden to your employer for medical insurance which will give workers more job flexibility.

You will be able to tell the boss "take this job and shove it" in the appropriate circumstances. Corporate workers will be less likely to be looked at as sheeple that corporations can move around.

Now do you understand why corporations are nervous about public health care?  Public health care will liberate many workers from bad and marginal corporations.
