Did Mary Bono Mack cheat on her taxes? The California Republican is at the center of a political storm with
allegations swirling that she may have illegally benefited from tax breaks that are worth thousands of dollars.

Bono Mack, who is married to Florida Congressman and Republican Senate hopeful Connie Mack, have both claimed homestead exemptions on their residences in Fort Myers and Palm Springs.

The Florida Constitution, however, prohibits any individual or “family unit” from claiming more than one homestead exemption.
In defending the dual homestead exemptions, an attorney for the Congresswoman’s husband has claimed that the couple have kept their finances separate, which entitles them to the exemptions.

But, according to the Tampa Tribune,“financial disclosure forms Mack files annually as a member of Congress could suggest otherwise.”

The Lee County Property appraiser in Florida is investigating if the couple broke any laws.

"This is hardly a point of personal honor, but by the time I turned 45 somehow I had managed get through life without being involved in numerous bar brawls.

And, it appears safe to say I like to drink as much as Connie Mack IV, whose record is 0-4 in road rage/gin mill bouts.

Indeed, it seems weird to see the name Connie Mack in the same sentences that also include "bar," "brawl," "property lien" and "overdraft fees." After all, Connie "The Glass Jaw" Mack is the namesake son of Florida's former Republican U.S. senator. . ."

Why does Connie Mack remind Rightardia of GW Bush? 

"U.S. Rep. Connie Mack has made penny-pinching debt-reduction central to his U.S. Senate campaign, but privately he has struggled at times with borrowing and paying his own obligations, court records show.

Mack sometimes appeared to spend more than he earned, had property liens filed against him, overdrew his bank account and didn't have enough money to pay his federal income taxes after his 2004 congressional election, according to court records from Fort Myers to Jacksonville to Fort Lauderdale.

His finances aside, the records also show that Mack in his youth got into four confrontations — from an arrest at a nightclub to a bar brawl with a pro baseball player. Later, while in Congress, his estranged wife accused him of not living in his Fort Myers district and of using his influence to strong-arm her during their divorce."
