Time to restart trade with Russia

If we trade with the Chinese communists, there is no reason we cannot start trading again with the Russians who have abandoned communism. Sanctions against the Russians in the Jackson-Vanik Act should be suspended.

The Jackson-Vanik Act put trade sanctions against Russia because of its immigration policy for Russian Jews. This is no longer an issue. Trade with the Russia will improve relations with it. The Russians are also interested in improving their IT infrastructure with US help.
