Perry said he supported teaching intelligent design alongside evolution in Texas schools.
He also supports Israel due to his religious beliefs. Perry has said:
I'm a big believer that this country was given to people of Israel a long time ago, by God, and that's ordained.
Texas has had a one year drought and Rick Perry signed a resolution asking Texans to pray for rain. Perhaps he should hire native Americans to perform a rain dances, too!
