Levi Johnston offered up to Vanity Fair an inside account about life in the Palin household.

Johnston’s account of life with Sarah and Todd is not the Ozzie and Harriet story. Sarah supposedly only talks to Todd when arguing or bossing him around. Todd spent his nights on the living room recliner. The supposed hockey mom rarely turned up at Track’s games. Her daughter, Bristol, takes care of the Trig, who has Down’s Syndrome

He depicts Palin in pajamas "on the living room couch. She had all the colors -- with her hair down, watching house shows and wedding shows on TV." Todd, for his part, was in the garage sneaking beers. "There wasn’t much parenting in that house," Johnston says.

"Sarah doesn’t cook, Todd doesn’t cook -- the kids would do it all themselves: cook, clean, do the laundry, and get ready for school."

Is any of this true -- the talk of divorce, Sarah’s secret plan to adopt Tripp?

The Vanity Fair story implies that Levi Johnson was probably the source of the Shanon Mooore blog rumors that Sarah Palin was seeking a divorce.

Only in America can such a story be a springboard to a modeling and acting career. "I could go out and do movies, maybe one day even end up as a celebrity," the opportunistic Johnston muses. If you watch the "behind-the-scenes" video of Johnston on the Vanity Fair website, he is sitting in the back of a limousine discussing an offer to pose for Playgirl magazine. "I’d do it," Johnston says.

You betcha!. Perhaps Sarah Palin didn’t deserve to be vice president, but she didn’t deserve this treatment either. However, Democrats might suggest she got what she deserved.
