Former House speaker Tom DeLay injures foot

Cheryl Burke, 'Dancing with the Stars'

Former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay was injured during a rehearsal for ABC's "Dancing With the Stars."

"Old age is catching up to me, may have a stress fracture in my foot," DeLay wrote Tuesday on Twitter. "no worries, it'll take more than that to keep me off the dance floor!"

DeLay later indicated on Twitter that his condition is "a pre-stress fracture.

His dance partner is Cheryl Burke, one of the most successful dancers and choreographers on the show.
