The new Mac operating system doesn't introduce dramatic new changes, but rather tightens up existing functions. It's not lust-worthy, Walt Mossberg says, but Snow Leopard makes a strong operating system a little faster and smoother.
Snow Leopard does support Microsoft Exchange. I assume that Walt Mossberg means that an Outlook email client or Outlook-like client is built in to Snow Leopard which can transmit and receive email from an Exchange Server.
The Evolution email client is already built into Linux. Linux is similar to Snow Leopard and Evolution email client has worked with Microsoft Exchange for a long time.
So essentially Macs can now perform a trick that Linux has supported for quite a while.
